an ability to create a discount code for one shop item with setable %
or one time useable ar that you can use only once, if the below one isn’t possible
or ability to create claimable code that works once that gives you currency or something else that admin has set
I know we can do all of these by utilizing autoresponders but, the first idea would be a really cool premium feature! Along with #269 , the shops will become a lot more customizable like thats fireeee!
this is a cool concept but will be quite a lot of work bc there’s a lot of possible directions here. and knowing me, i always want maximum configuration (i have the “if im gonna make a feature, i wanna do it right the first time” mentality whcih is a good and bad thing LMAO)
I know this is not my post, but I’d like to share some of my suggestions:
• Shop discount codes could be generated as ‘one time coupons’, since we can already set certain shop sales w Premium already, but we cannot set individual shop sales unfortunately (#269)
• Discount codes could be created with /set currency coupon: XMAS2023 or autogenerated by Mimu
• We could further edit coupons with `/shop edit coupon: XMAS2023 discountpercent: 0-99 item: item_ID
Users would see a new box popup (i forgot what they’re called LOL) when buying a shop item w /shop buy item: item OPTIONAL amount: amount discountcode: code
, only if a discountcode was created for a shop item, if that’s possible ofc. Or they can just input 0.
If buying confirmation is enabled, it would look smth like this. feel free to add onto my suggestion.
afaik options cannot pop up for just one thing, the entire command & every item would show an option for a discount code. maybe if there’s no discount code for x item then mimu will reply with sry no active discount code. but then that begs the question: would users want the transaction to happen anyway if the code is invalid? or mimu to cancel it?
Ah I see. Then, like I mentioned -since its optional- users can input 0 if there isnt any.
