Extend voting time before streak loss#500

Sorry if I’ve missed some info and it cannot be done but I believe that the cooldown should maybe be extended so that instead of losing the streak when you dont vote within 24 hours, it could be extended to maybe like 30h. Recently, due to a busy scheduele and many of my friends have experienced this too, I wasn’t able to vote within 24 hours, but I was able to vote within the day.
Example : I vote at 11AM and I am asleep by 11PM so then I can’t vote within the 12 hour time frame, but I am busy until 12PM the next day so I miss the 24 hour time limit but I vote at 12:08PM, voting within the next day.
I feel this extended cooldown can be beneficial as I feel it would encourage voting for more users who like the streak input as the streak is not easily broken ^^
I think it could really make a difference just adding a few hours cuz I’ve got recent experiences where I vote just an hour after my streak was lost. As I said before, my friends have also had this experience and I’m pretty sure other users would have had this experience before :)
If anything is confusing, I am free to clarify anything further :D

Voting takes a few minutes only. Even when I am not home I just pull up my phone and vote there. I don’t think we need another 6h added to streak protection. If you vote once a day your streak won’t be lost :))

One advice I can give you is that adapt your voting schedule to your sleep schedule. This way you don’t have to worry about losing your tickets or streaks. I always vote whenever I wake up and vote when I goö to bed agaşn ^^

Ah thank you for the advice 😭🙏I’ll keep that in mind. That is pretty true. Now that I think of all those components, those points are pretty valid

nah actually, I like this idea. sometimes on school mornings, I just don’t have the time to vote yk and when I come home, I then have other things I’m busy with in which I didn’t the previous day. then, my streak is gone so voting within the 24 hours can be hard for me to maintain nowadays, but I can vote within the day if you get what I mean. i’m pretty certain this will be very beneficial for me and I’m sure for others too. can’t really vote during school unfortunately.
