Removing one item from all server inventories#614

Currently theres a command to remove all items from every members inventory in the server and also individually - however there isn’t one to remove a particular item from everyones inventory.

This is important to me as many of my ARs use shop items during events - once this event has concluded i then remove these items. However, if I have multiple events running at the same time this means I cannot reset inventories (as it would interrupt ongoing events) which makes it confusing, many ask how to get certain items (which have already been removed as the events ended - but cannot be deleted from inventories because it would remove current event items) and floods inventories which looks unprofessional.

Therefore I’d like to suggest the command of removing a particular item from everyones inventory seperately, and also a particular item from a particular persons inventory!

from everyone’s its not possible right now, but you can create an autoresponder with {modifyinv:} to remove a particular item from a person

In one of the developer AMAs, Iara said that implementing this feature would be challenging because items have more complex data than just balances. Also, mimu sometimes miscounts when removing/adding items to user inventories, so I’m sure it would be more of an annoying feature if that was implemented. :(
