Self Edit Embeds/msgs with ars & buttons#682

So right now when you make an ar and you add buttons to it, if you click on the button it just creates a whole new message, thus creating a string of messages.

What I’m suggesting is something that could give us the option to have the ars and buttons replace/self edit the first msg sent to be whatever the message for the button responders are and possibly give us the option to have multiple pages within a responder/embed.

Example of what it’s like now:
ar - Help, gives a msg with an embed that explains the options/buttons below.
Buttons are map, perks, etc. each send msgs with embeds of information about the server.

Help -> Help ar msg -> Map button -> Map msg: given another embed msg of the first category in the server but must click on more buttons that create new msgs for other category info.

How it could be:
Help -> help ar msg -> Map button -> map msg (replaces the first msg mimu sent): Category 1 info with buttons that you can click on for specific category info or have multiple pages with the category 1 info msg that you can flip through to get to other info using the buttons (msg replaced again so no string.)

My best visual example of what I’m trying to suggest is from another bot, Pluralkit. Or something like Mimi’s shop feature (just found that out.)

I’m more than willing to talk to someone about ideas of how to make it possible or for further clarification if needed!
