Pausing Pets#78

The ability to pause pets while on vacation, etc.
This would be useful since my pet died because I didn’t have access to technology for a few days. This ability would also stop you from doing this to cheat, by disabling pet perks and all pet related commands. During the time when a pet is paused, their stats will not appear in your balance, and you cant do anything to higher or lower them. It basically makes mimu think that you do not have a pet for this timestamp, helping users who don’t have the money for pd buddies.

personally i think its a cool idea, but it could still be abused? i mean i think pets are meant to be taken care of

^to help with this there can be a gap of time between pauses that has to pass before you can pause again

Yes this!!! It is SUPER demotivating when I left for 2 days to come back to a dead pet even tho it had more than 2 days left until it expired. It’s hard for people who don’t have a lot of money/ basically all of their time to spend taking care of a pet. I don’t think it’s fair that we’re essentially punishing people whenever they need a break from discord, or they just get so busy they don’t have the time to keep their pet happy. Although you can argue it’ll get “abused” I truly don’t see how if nothing goes up or down. It’s just there for a period of time until you’re able to be back again and I do believe that a cooldown would be nice to keep it from being “abused”. I know that on the feedback channel someone said they could see it being in the stars shop and while I think that is a good idea, I wouldn’t like to see it super expensive like most things are in the stars shop considering it can be a bit difficult to obtain stars at times.
